Your Devil-Angel Conversation: Steps 1577. Today I made a commitment to myself to go to the beach again and enjoy the warm winter day. I actually sat on a park bench and enjoyed just relaxing and taking in the warmth of the sun. I brought a hot dog and some hot chips. I ate the hotdog and then went on to the beach and began to walk, eating an occasional chip, but really I was looking for the seagulls to share the chips with. I ate probably one handful of chips and gave the rest to the seagulls. Standing among the seagulls as they landed and flew all around me was exhilirating. I love being among the birds free from restriction and my own emotional struggles of the week just past. I binge watched all of the Wilderbody challenge videos for the second week and realised there was so much I had missed. I realised I was not showing up for myself and made a commitment to change that internal dialogue. So I listened to Eric and all those live calls and grabbed their advice and put it into practice immediately. I did two sets of 10 squats and 2 sets of 10 bicep curls just to see if I could do it. After I wacthed and took notes of the last 7 days I got off line and searched through Youtube to find what is flexibility training. and did a 10minute flexibility challenge for the absolute beginner. Boy was I tight but I did not give up and did not stretch myself beyond my limitations. By the end my heart was pumping but I felt free. I felt amazing. I felt happy with my own personal wins tonight. I slept a damn sight better than the entire previous week. Thank you.
